FISHING
Chartered Fishing is offered year round (following the Ontario Fishing Regulations for the area). Most of our trips are offered on lakes within Huntsville and surrounding. We are willing to travel but there is a surcharge. Let us know if you have a specific lake or species in mind. We can accommodate groups of all sizes with our multiple guides and boats. All ages and experience welcome!

WHAT YOU NEED
A valid Ontario Fishing License (May be purchased online or in-store at Service Ontario or most Canadian Tire and Petro Canada locations. You may obtain a single day license and not need to have your Ontario Outdoors Card.

THE FISH
Our lakes have an assortment of species!
Pike – Perch – Small/Large Mouth Bass – Pickerel – Brook/Lake/Rainbow Trout – Brown Bullhead – Rock Bass – Pumpkinseed – White Sucker
ICE FISHING
Join us during the hard water season for a thrilling adventure on the ice! We have multiple huts available and can accommodate larger groups. We offer the full package so all you need to do is dress warm and bring some snacks! You will be provided a heated hut, rod, gear, bait, drilled holes, light snack, ride out/back from shore. If weather permits we try to have a fire on the ice within a fire bowl.
FLY FISHING
Learn the techniques of fly fishing from shore or a boat! Guide and Founder of Hooked Young, Tommy, has experience fly fishing all over Canada. You can arrange a day learning the techniques on the line and/or book a class on tying flies!
STAY AND FISH
Come stay at our lakefront cottage on Oudaze Lake and enjoy a fishing experience with one of our guides during your stay. We do offer special rates for our guests who are taking part in the “Stay and Fish” package.
We also offer discounted rates for charters on our home lake and some of the neighbouring lakes.
We do more than “just” fishing… If you have a Muskoka adventure that you would like to go on, let us know and we will make it happen! Our guides have spent time exploring the area over many years. Most grew up within the Huntsville, Ontario area and love sharing what they have discovered.
For the most part, our trips are held within Huntsville and surrounding. We love to travel and are happy to do so but there is a travel charge for our guides to do so.

CAMPING
Sleeping under the stars is one of our absolute favourite adventures to plan! Don’t have the gear, we have you covered! We will plan the location, set up site, even buy the supplies so all you need is your personal belongings.
PADDLE TRIPS
There are many options for paddling in the area. Currently we do have some vessels to offer but depending on the group we do outsource locally to rent additional boats. Here are a few examples of trips you could plan…
Portage Canoe trip into one of the Provincial Parks. Kayak/SUP River Float. Island Lunch Paddle. Tour part of the Muskoka River.
YOGA
Looking to tour off the beaten path for a yoga experience like no other? Join our fabulous Instructor/Guide, Kayla Harvey! Born and raised in Huntsville, Ontario. Kayla is a thrill seeking adventurist with an avid passion for yoga! Who better to take in some zen moments with while exploring the wilderness! Groups of all sizes welcome.
Prefer to do an overnight retreat? We have a cottage on Oudaze Lake which has space and views for doing yoga lakeside! Or explore a new location and camp under the stars for the night. We also have space next door to the cottage if you wanted to come for an afternoon yoga session on the water without having to hike anywhere.
HIKING
Take on any of the local hiking trails within the Provincial Parks, or go off the beaten path for a tour on one of our paths! Full/Half Day and Overnight Tours Available.
CRAYFISH FISHING
That’s Right, Fishing for Crayfish! This is a catch and release activity that most ages can enjoy! We will take you to a location where you will wade in the water searching for these crusty pals. We can supply life jackets but recommend bringing water shoes or hip waders (not required). This activity is seasonal as you are in the water.
